Hi everyone,
The Philippines National Chess Championship 2011 adds to the chess month of July. It is being held from July 16-23 in the Manila. The men’s section includes 14 players and the men’s section includes 12 players – all competing in a round-robin format.
GM Wesley So is the defending champion. He has the three previous editions of the ‘Battle of th Grandmasters’ – as the event is know. GM John Paul quips: “My chance So is certainly the favourite at the event. You can read further at www.chessdom.com.
